DESCRIPTION:<p>Howick High School is honoured to be hosting the Milton Academy Jazz Ban
 d from the USA. The academy’s jazz music department<br />has been acclaimed
  as amongst the best in America. Over the years they have played twice at T
 he White House for Presidential receptions and for Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
 </p><p>Facilitated by the Rotary Club of Hilton &amp; Howick, the band are 
 visiting South Africa on an outreach tour, which they have done every 2nd y
 ear since 1991. On these tours, students have delivered over $265,000 worth
  of donated music instruments and materials to underprivileged South Africa
 n school music programs.</p><p>We are delighted to bring this opportunity t
 o the uMngeni community to enjoy this amazing band perform and bring us 'Th
 e Joy of Jazz'. The show takes place on Tuesday, 14 March 2023 at 18:00 in 
 the Howick High School hall. Tickets are R100 per person or R50 per learner
